Herrell’s Ice Cream

Herrell’s Ice Cream, a beloved name in premium artisan ice cream since 1980, has expanded to the Mill District in North Amherst, MA. Currently operating from a pop-up location at 83 Cowls Road, the shop offers a selection of their famous small-batch gourmet ice cream, including dairy-free ice cream and no-sugar-added varieties as well as locally made ice cream cakes. Their offerings include ice cream cones, cups, sundaes, and floats. This is a temporary location as Herrell’s prepares to open a permanent store at 69 Cowls Road, nestled between Carefree Cakery and Provisions Fine Foods. Herrell’s is renowned for its more than 400 kosher ice cream flavors, with offerings that cater to dairy-free, vegan, and lactose-free customers. The new permanent location is expected to feature an expanded menu and create a vibrant addition to the Mill District’s growing food scene.
