Provisions Mill District Finds a New Home Across the Way

Celebrating two successful years at The Cow Barn in The Mill District, Provisions will be moving across North Square to a more spacious venue in spring of 2023. Soon fine liquors will be a new feature of Provisions’ Mill District location.

“We are happy to be making a commitment to stay for the long haul, building our business there, and helping to create a retail beverage and food destination at the Mill District that hosts a lot of special
events that people won’t find anywhere else,” says co-owner Bruce McAmis.

Provisions is well- known for curating over 700 craft beers; 1000 fine wines (with 400 great values under $15/bottle); the finest Champagne in the Valley; plus fine foods and a full-service cheesemonger-staffed
cheese and charcuterie bar. In their new North Square venue, Provisions plans to expand fresh food options to help satisfy Mill District patrons’ desire for more diverse breads, fruit, and vegetables.

The new Provisions Mill District location will be next to incoming Futura Coffee Roasters and the Carefree Cakery; located across from Cisco’s Café and The Lift Salon, in the Trolley Barn on Cowls Road. After the new space is built out to Provisions’ specifications, they will move across the square, and a new Brewery and live music venue is expected to take up residence in the Cow Barn spot.

“The Mill District is becoming a really compelling food corridor, and a lot of fun” says Benson Hyde, managing partner of the Mill District location. An international market just moved into Riverside and we’re expanding our offerings next to three excellent foodie destinations.”

The Mill District, North Amherst was created to invigorate community connections in the Internet age providing experiential retail, great eats, and lots of fun for all ages. 5,000sf of retail space remains available for lease.
